Musi customers extend domination of Flatout Gaskets Nitrous Wars  Cox keeps Buck Engines alive

PITTSBORO, N.C. (Sept. 16, 2018): While two races remain on the 2018 PDRA Tour, Musi Racing Engines customers have so thoroughly dominated the season that It’s now become impossible for anyone to top Musi Racing Engines in the 2018 version of Flatout Gaskets Nitrous Wars. The Musi engines camp has achieved four of the five low qualifier awards, but, thus far, only one driver has repeat this feat. Tommy Franklin scored both low ET of the recent Drag Wars and won the event with solid command of the Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous presented by MoTeC competition. His 959 Musi engine powered him to a pack-leading 3.710 at 202 MPH.
Top and Pro Junior points battles are the closest in PDRA history

PITTSBORO, N.C. (August 31, 2018): The 2018 PDRA season is now halfway over and points battles are starting to shape up with clear leaders. Three races remain for teams to make their push for a PDRA Championship. In CoolShirt Pro Junior Dragster Makala Stevens and Anthony Suppers are tied for first with 1058 points each. Most of the field remains close behind, and it’s still feasible for any of the top 10 Pro Junior drivers to make a run at the 2018 Championship. What’s even more impressive for these young drivers is that it’s both Makala’s and Anthony’s first year following the PDRA tour.
PDRA: Faith, Family and Racing

PITTSBORO, N.C. (July 24, 2018): There’s often reason for celebration at the race track. Each event, winners are crowned and someone goes home with a shiny new trophy and some hard-earned cash. It’s one of the main reasons we show up at the track week after week. But, most are quick to also realize that though the cars and speed are part of the passion, it’s the people who make it all worthwhile. And even when we celebrate performance, it’s really the people behind the accomplishments we’re cheering on. One of the PDRA mottos was fully lived out at the recent Firecracker Nationals, as people celebrated in a whole new way.

PDRA Takes a Second Look at Pro Extreme

PITTSBORO, N.C. (June 14, 2018): This season the PDRA has worked diligently to revive the Pro Extreme category, which has, in recent years, been losing racer support. A small handful of racers remained faithful to the class, but the lack of strong competition was evident. “The competition is not there,” began PDRA’s Bob Harris. “While the racers appreciated the PDRA paying the full payout for races for only a few Pro Extreme cars, they expressed they would rather enjoy strong competition...
