SWITZER DYNAMICS NAMED TITLE SPONSOR
OF PDRA PRO NITROUS CLASS
Over the last two years Switzer
Dynamics has become a regular face
among both the eighth and quarter mile
drag racing circuits. Now this budding
company has partnered with the
Professional Drag Racers Association
to sponsor the highly respected Pro
Nitrous division for the inaugural
PDRA season. The “Switzer Dynamics Pro
Nitrous Class” is one of six
professional categories for the PDRA,
which will also be home to two
sportsman and two junior dragster
divisions.
For Switzer Dynamics, the choice to
support the PDRA was a clear one:
“We’re firm believers that we need an
eighth mile series,” relayed Melissa
Switzer of Switzer Dynamics. “Jason
Scruggs and everyone involved are all
great people. Most of the people
behind this organization are
successful businessmen already. Add to
that the passion they have for drag
racing and it’s clear that this is
going to be a good series and we want
to be a part of it.”
Continuing the legacy of Pro Nitrous
within their new organization was
something important to PDRA founders
and Switzer Dynamics couldn’t agree
more. “We believe the Pro Nitrous
class has to be around,” continued
Switzer. “It’s become a part of the
eighth mile series. With the

weight rules and how much everyone has
stepped up their game over the last
year, Pro Nitrous will be a very
competitive class with a lot of good
racing on a fair playing field. We’re
thrilled to be a part of it.”
As an organization constructed by
racers for racers, the PDRA
understands well the value of
manufacturers being committed to their
customers and is pleased that Switzer
Dynamics has chosen to support their
customer base by partnering with the
newest name in eighth mile racing.
“Brandon, Melissa and their crew do an
awesome job of supporting racers and
nitrous racing as a whole,” told PDRA
Race Director, Bob Harris. “Their
products are innovative and cutting
edge, keeping the nitrous industry
moving forward, and they are some of
the hardest working people in racing.
We’re honored to have them on board in
our first year and believe this is a
relationship that we can build on for
years to come.”
Switzer Dynamics plans to be a
presence in the PDRA not just in name
alone. They will be on hand at events,
continuing their R&D and offering
product support to current and new
clients. The Denver, NC based company
has grown immensely in its short span
and their product line continues to
expand. In 2013 they introduced
Electronic Fuel Injection packages and
this season they are debuting plate
kits.
“We’re still a fairly new company,”
explained Switzer. “This is our second
year being in business and we’ve come
a long way in a short time period.
We’re continually working to make our
products better and put our R&D to
work for our customers. We want to
supply all the products for each kind
of nitrous car, whether that’s a
production car that wants to bolt on a
kit or a whether that’s a pro mod car
that runs four stages. We’re getting
there. We now offer a single stage
plate kit for a 4500 Series Carburetor
and our 2 Stage Plate Kit should be
out by the end of April.”
Switzer Dynamics’ services run the
gamut of nitrous and induction
services, including custom nitrous
installations, custom intake and
manifold designs, flow testing,
fabrication, as well as their recent
additions of EFI packages and plate
kits.
