RJ Race Cars & Quarter-Max Chassis & Racing Components to Provide Contingency Support for PDRA

The premier heads-up doorslammer racing series in North America and one of the top chassis and racing components manufacturers in the sport have joined forces to provide the ultimate eighth-mile drag-racing experience for competitors and fans alike.

The Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) and RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max Chassis & Racing Components have entered into an agreement that will see RJ Race Cars provide contingency support for racers in Extreme Pro Stock, Pro Boost, Pro Nitrous, and Pro Extreme.

RJ Race Cars was established in 1987, and today a talented staff of 25 designers, fabricators and technicians at the 30,000-sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Galesburg, Illinois, provide hundreds of racers in numerous classes and sanctioning bodies with the absolute best race cars, chassis and performance parts that money can buy.

Rick Jones, owner and proprietor of both RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max, is pleased to be associated with the exciting new doorslammer series. “We are certainly looking forward to working with the PDRA this season as a contingency sponsor,” Jones said.

“We’re really excited about backing the entire organization. A lot of our customers will be involved, and we plan to do what we can to support them both on and off the track. I plan to be at a number
of the events and my son Rickie will be involved as well. We’re building a new ’67 Mustang Pro Extreme car for Gene Hector right now, and Rickie will be helping him tune his car at quite a few of the events.

“The bottom line is that we will be available to any racer who needs help or advice. We sell parts on the mail-order side to most everyone who will be there, so we will definitely help where we can.
We are there to give back, to support them because so many racers need a quality place to race. The PDRA will provide that, and we’re excited about participating.

“The PDRA is run by racers, and they will be at every race making sure that things are done right,” said Jones. “They are all good people and good businessmen, and that’s extremely important these days.” RJ Race Cars and Quarter-Max – a name that stands for race-winning innovation, quality and consistency - is now a proud supporter of the PDRA.
