“National Day of Prayer is this Thursday, May 3rd. People will be meeting at Town Halls to pray for this country. God Speed Ministry and PDRA will offer two opportunities to pray at the North South Shootout at Maryland Int’l Raceway this Thursday. The first will proceed testing at 9:30 a.m. behind the tower at the stage. The 2nd one will proceed testing at the end of the day at the stage. Everyone is welcome to participate.” God Speed Ministry Increases Support of the PDRA KINGS MTN, N.C. (May 1, 2018): God Speed Ministry is increasing their support of the PDRA in 2018 by providing chaplains on the midway. A stationary location will make it easy for racers, sponsors, officials and fans to locate a chaplain. The God Speed Ministry display on the midway will be staffed by Chaplains Joe and Debbie Sannutti at all events except Michigan and Ohio. Bibles, decals, books and other giveaways will be available. T-shirts are available for a suggested donation. God Speed Ministry introduces the Road Sign Seek 'n Find activity for children of all ages. Children (and parents) can go to the display to get details of how to play. The game starts Friday morning and players can join any time afterwards. Play at your own pace. Prizes can be claimed at the display after each activity is complete or collect all at one time. This is a non-competitive game designed to increase knowledge of Bible stories in a fun way. Younger children and parents can participate together. Claim all prizes by 5:00 pm on Saturday. God Speed Ministry is sponsoring the PDRA racer information center. The new display will be stationed outside of the tower at each event. Qualifying sheets for each class will be placed there within 30 minutes after each round. The ladders will be placed there with final qualifying. A nondenominational Chapel Service will be held Saturday, May 6th from 8:15 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. at the upcoming PDRA North-South Shootout at Maryland International Raceway. Message will be delivered by Chaplain Tommy D’Aprile. The location will be the starting line grand stands. We are here to serve the racing community. Tommy D'Aprile is available in the pits and will continue to preach on Saturdays. Gary and Renee Bingham continue to be available in the tower or in the pits.
