"The
Bender" Coming To The PDRA In 2018
(Jan. 22, 2018) - Top Dragster racer and owner of Bednar's
Auto Service in Ocala, Florida, Brian Bednar, aka "The
Bender" is thrilled to announce that with the support of
FTI Performance of Deland, Florida, he will be running the
entire eight race PDRA series in 2018.
Brian is honored to bring a new sponsor to the PDRA in FTI.
FTI is the premier torque converter and transmission
manufacturer in the racing industry. With multiple big
money bracket race winners and all of the NHRA and IHRA
8.90 and 9.90 World Champions in 2017 utilizing FTI
performance products, this makes the perfect combination.
Brian will be running FTI’s PPG level 6 powerglide and
popular XPM Billet bolt together converter to show just
how competitive and fast this combination is.
Last year "The Bender" totally dominated the Open Outlaw
class at the Bradenton Motorsports Park "Heads Up Madness"
Series with this combo, by going undefeated the entire
season and running as quick as 3.73 @ 196 mph with his
Chevy powered Spitzer dragster.
He also welcomes associate sponsors Jim Evans, engine
builder extraordinaire at Rolla Competition Engines, The
