Pilot Flying J Continues Partnership with PDRA Teams

PITTSBORO, N.C. (January 13, 2017): For the third consecutive year Pilot Flying J is showing its support for PDRA teams, helping reduce travel costs to and from events. The program that began in 2015 allows teams to obtain a fuel discount card to automatically save $0.03 on every gallon of gas or diesel fuel. The discount card is valid at all Pilot Flying J centers across the U.S.

“The Pilot Flying J program has been extremely popular among our racers,” stated PDRA Director of Marketing, Will Smith. “We appreciate the ongoing support from the great people at Pilot. Saving on fuel costs is an asset to our racers and partnering with upstanding companies like Pilot Flying J is something we pride ourselves on and strive for here at PDRA. We are excited that our racers can continue to take advantage of this program and encourage everyone who hasn’t already to join the program this year.”

When the program was initiated, Pilot Flying J developed reward cards specific to the PDRA. A limited number of PDRA Pilot Partner Cards are still available and can be obtained by calling the PDRA office at 919.799.0621. These cards will always remain active and never lose their fuel perk rewards. PDRA teams can also use the MyRewards Preferred Customer or Professional Driver cards from Pilot Flying J to save $0.03 on every gallon. These cards can be picked up at any Pilot Flying J. To ensure fuel savings, card holders need to register cards through the MyPilot app. Savings can then be obtained both through the app and through the card. The MyPilot app also gives users current fuel prices, travel center locations, reward balances, and more.

A host of additional savings and perks come with the Pilot Flying J reward cards and app, including discounts at Pilot Flying J restaurants and convenience stores. Hundreds of race teams log thousands of miles traveling to PDRA events each year. Joining the My Rewards program is an easy way to save money on one of the biggest expenses for many teams.

Currently, Pilot Flying J is the number one purveyor of over-the-road diesel fuel in North America with over 685 locations under the Pilot and Flying J brands. In 2015 Forbes ranked Pilot Flying J #8 among America’s Largest Private Companies. Pilot Flying J Travel Centers make it easy for rigs of all sizes and types to get in, out, and on their way again to and from the track.
